The Stand was first published in 1978, and then it was reprinted as The Complete & Uncut Edition in 1990. The extended version is easily available both in audiobook and in e-book. Does anybody know if there is an audibook or e-book of the first edition?

How long is the original audiobook version ? the newer release is around 47 hrs.
Theres a old what sounds like tape conversion thats 33hrs long on the usenet
seems to be split in to 3 parts. 68 chapters

I don't know if there's an audiobook version of the original edition at all, so I don't know the length of it, but 33 hours compared to 47 sounds about right, I really think you found what I'm looking for! Edit: but of course it could easily be just an abridged version of the second edition.  |

How would i beable to tell i don't want to download/post yet another version of it?,we already have it several times.
Give me some time , I'll get if i can the ebook version and play them alongside each other,ebook is easier as it only has 823 pages vs the 1000+ the newer release has.
