All hail Ishtar, Queen of the Heavens!

"In the ancient world, it is difficult to overstate the importance of Inanna/Ishtar. As the most famous Mesopotamian goddess, her substantial influence was embedded in many aspects of her worshippers' lives, and she was revered across the broad geographical reach of the Ancient Near East for a period of history spanning thousands of years. Ishtar comes from a very early time in the history of complex civilisations, with her cult attested at Uruk as early as the late 4th millennium BCE."

When I get up early enough to see her rising  before the sun over the Delaware River I'm always reverent and say good morning.

It'd be nice if someone could fill this request.

Love your passion Cheesy Enheduanna the world first female recorded poet from Mesopotamia wrote a great poem about your favorite Goddess which is parallel with sappho poem to aphrodite. but sadly there is no Audiobook about her or her poems I would have surely requested it.

Sadly some of my requests were here for a full year and yet i'm still waiting for someone to notice hopefully this won't be one of them.
The problem I live in a third world country and my language isn't even english. and I can't have credit card.
and most of these books I can't find them here and My eyes are weak for reading so audiobooks are my only savior.

I never really got Christianity... Too many contradictions are evident even to a young child.  Looking at it now I can see it is just a bunch of hocus pocus...like all religions.  Still, as Alain deBotan stated in Religion for Atheists, rituals and holidays are important.  If you're going to be smart enough to not let the priestly class pull the wool over your eyes, you also need to be smart enough to invent your own rituals and holidays.  I celebrate "Days Between" every year at the beginning of August. I intend to make America Grateful again. {Ironically, people like the Trumps make me want to believe in a hell.)

In truth All religions are true in their true essence but wrong in their perceptions. There is no Christianity, there is a christianity the christians created, there is no islam there is islam the Muslims have created and so is judaism.
Niacin christians destroyed Athena statues to worship another virgin statues in the same spot. visiting spain in holy week will got you surprised if christianity is really monotheistic religion or still a pagan one in disguise.
I'm a believer but no follower. if you got trumps we got here more trumps of other kinds, its vicious circle.

Hypatia convinced me the Christians are no better than the "Muslim fundamentalists" who everyone was so upset about for destroying the Buddhas. Zealotry is selfishness. If you refuse to learn from others then you refuse to learn. Destroying the Library is anathema to me.  I am still unable to comprehend why the Spanish Catholics destroyed civilization after civilization in south America.  All that knowledge just pissed away...

because they had the urge to think they only are right about everything and their fear of death entangled them in making an investment in their afterlife as real estate called paradise. they don't see it as something deserved but as something to invest and that mentality is running through many of them in the past and in many of us in the present.how many of these goodies implement the goodness they preach? Fairly not as much.
