As you probably already noticed, I did quite a bit of work on the "Torrents" (formerly "Requests") section earlier today - major re-structuring as well as minor tweaking. If you think any of the changes made things worse, or that more changes would be nice, tell me, and I'll give it due consideration.

ETA: Also cleaned out this board as much as I could now. I'd appreciate it if a few of the other regulars would look through the remaining threads and let me know if any of those suggestions were already implemented or are no longer relevant.

Hey Everybody. I moved the remaining requests from the General Request Board to the proper (I Hope) child boards yesterday and today I reordered almost every board on the forum to more-or-less alphabetical order - as we've just been adding things as needed. I added Horror to the SciFi Category and I've also posted the Final Version of the Request Board Rules. Whew! Let me know what you think♥

It looks good. I don't see any problems. 

I would suggest giving humor a separate category.  (People who are into humor are usually different people from those non-fiction.)

I can suggest the possibility of creating a few other categories from non-fiction such as "politics"  and "business."

That would be a sensible division in a normal library.

However, the kinds of books uploaded here have a different profile.
Much more fiction than non-fiction. And humour might be once a week, if that.
Politics and business is also pretty rare.

And a lot of requesters just put their reqs in any forum. Or if they notice there are several possibilities, they think they should spam their request in every one just in case someone misses it.

Having a more fine grained request system makes sense in theory, but I don't think it would be any more productive. It would certainly be more work for the mods. It gets pretty tedious telling every new poster to read the f***ing rules.
