NO SOUND. redownloaded and tried file on 3 different devices, Itunes will not even reconize the file to play

I get what appears to be the full download, but when I try to play it, I get “File Cannot Be Rendered”.
I’ve tried 3 times and given up.

I tried to load this on my Ipod but it wouldn’t recognise the filetype. I tried it in VLC (which plays any filetype known to mankind), but it wouldn’t play it either, despite recognising the file length. I then tried to re-encode in in fre.ac (which is what I usually do when I come across problematic audio files, but fre.ac couldn’t load it either. I tried DL’ing it again to see if the download might have been corrupted but that made no difference…
Weirdly enough, I discovered that I COULD play the file back using the Apple QuickTime Player on my Mac, but that would mean I’d have to sit at the computer for 14.5 hours to hear it all, which isn’t ideal (I normally play books back on my Ipod whilst I’m going about my daily business)…
Anyway, hopefully, the original uploader can maybe swap this problematic one out for a working version… (?)
