Regular day job - Check. Tedious life in need of excitement - Definitely. A strange magical rift - What can go wrong! Ben clocked in and clocked out, living a dreary life until a rip of energy caught his attention. Of course, interfering with the spell proved disastrous and he’s sucked into a portal. On Semintor, the fantastical exists alongside wondrous magic. Ben arrives with a massive advantage thanks to his tinkering with the portal that got him his Arcana – his ability to cast powerful magic - are downright godly. The man is capable of casting group heals, buffing all sorts of attributes, and more, making him a highly sought after spellcaster, a rare dedicated supporting healer. But… there’s a catch. A curse prohibits Ben from harming others or cast spells on himself. Without a doubt he’s in a predicament that forces him to use his wit and get a group of strong, loyal people on his side if he’s to survive. Thankfully, his charm, good looks, and quick thinking helps him secure the support of two lovely ladies, because the hunt to capture him is on the moment he arrives. If Ben isn’t careful, he’ll become a chained servant to some petty tyrant, exploited for his unique magic. But if Ben is clever, he’ll build a family of powerful women who will do everything to protect each other.
Join Ben as he navigates Semintor with his augmented magic.

Thanks prick.
Just 1 question, is this book any good?

@Grimm927; if is any good?, you have to decide for yourself

Indeed prick. The whole hero who has to save everyone at the cost of himself and underdog shtick have become unappealing as of late since they all follow the same general outline. Hence my question have you finished listening to this book and if so what is your or anyone else’s opinion regarding it? Is it any good?

My opinion is.. it’s not bad. It’s not quite good either. The author doesn’t pick up the pace on anything : progression, world building, relationships, sex scenes, politics, combat… But I’m invested enough to not want to give up at this point (70%). Plus.. It’s really not bad, for litrpg.

Thanks Moxtar. I think I’ll give it a go. I’ve only been listening to Daniel Schinhofen, Michael scott earle, Xander Jade and JR Saileri this past year and they seem to do great work so I’m a bit cautious about trying out other books as I’ve listened and read some bad work before that. So i appreciate your input and I’ll give it a try.

It sounds interesting, but I don’t care for the harem part nor the sex scenes (it ends up often just being a waste of time and just used for word count).
Like, if I knew his “harem” would be limited to only 2 or whatever I’d be open to giving it a shot, but almost always it grows to having sex with the population of a town, to the point where you can’t feel attached to any of his romantic interests.
