the narrator is good , but he makes the girl voice´s
unjustice… he makes them sound stupid and slow and way over the top chinese … its honestly grating to the ears couldent listen more then a couple of hours b4 i choose to stop

By and far the absolute worst narrator I’ve ever heard, and I’ve listened to a lot. It’s him trying to do an over the top racist asian accent for almost every character I think? But it comes out closer to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
That said… why do they need accents? They’re aliens or humans speaking the alien language, not english so it’s not even needed.
BUT ALSO… he’s a terrible narrator even for his own voice. Mumbly and doesn’t enunciate and does over the top teenage angsty voices for anything emotional.
But I’m still listening. It’s like a trainwreck, it’s so back I can’t stop watching. I think underneath this is a better than average cultivation genre amauteur author story. Even with such an awful narrator the basic story shines through along with dynamic characters and decent worldbuilding.

for people mocking the asian accent the books explains tha all of East Asia were seeded on earth by alien cultivators long ago and all their tradiations and speaking patterns are infact Yee also the kids from earth were taken way younger than MC so they don’t remember their own culture or names and were given asian names and tough asian yee speaking patterns thats the culture they were brainwashed for.MC is the sole exception as he was older and remembers his own speaking patterns and culture. so give the narrator a break women in old asian cultures often have to appear very dumb unlesss they have status to not offend men as asian culture is very much a patriarchy
