Dear uploader, I know this sounds like complaining but … I have the hardcover of this and it’s a few hundred pages. No way is its unabridged audiobook 2.5 hours long. Is an unabridged recording not available? I’m still going to grab this, thank you.

No, tshwgal, it’s only available in abridged format. Recorded before the streaming era, these books were recorded in a “user-friendly” format of around 3 hours (3CDs), from the late nineties to the late noughties.
Publishers thought people would be daunted by packs of 7-12 CDs. And the classics at 20-30 hours would be a ridiculous 20-30 CDs. So they came up with the abridgement idea. :/
