@abryant5805 I have the same problem. Use something like MediaHuman Audio Converter to turn the m4b into a 64kbps MP3 file. You’ll be able to add that to iTunes.
The m4b will work in some other media players. I use the Voice audiobook player on my Android. (It’s a chapterized and tagged file, excellent quality.)
Voice will also allow you to speed up and slow down playback speed. (Jennette McCurdy is a total motormouth!)

@cryboy @abryant5805 that WORKED!! Omg I have been frustrated trying over and over since Tuesday to get it to load into my iTunes ~ the SAME issue kept happening for me. Go ahead and give MAC a try. Officially listening to JM’s new book on my phone as we speak. THANK YOU!!
